Welcome to Poppies! We provide a happy, stimulating, secure nursery for children aged 2 years to 5 years at both Poppies & Poppyfields, ‘out of school hours club’ for children aged 2 years to 7 years (Poppyfields only) & holiday provision, where they may flourish to their full potential.

At the heart of Poppies lays our value of the natural environment, where children grow and thrive through natural play, with their well-being and supported by understanding and knowledgeable professionals.

We enhance the development and education of children by involving families in Poppies ‘life’, building on what each child already knows/is able to do, with partnership communication key within this. For many children, Poppies will be their first step towards independence and we ensure each child feels safe and happy – both are vital foundations from which a child may become confident, explore and develop. In turn, children discover that other adults can be a source of friendship and knowledge and that group experiences can be enjoyed and shared with families. Our extended friendship to families ensures valuable communication, enabling each child’s ‘all around’ development, while promoting equality and valuing diversity.
